This is a composite image of about 20 shots stitched together showing an almost 180 degree view north on the Serengeti plains in Africa - you can see the curve of the shadows of the trees showing how the image is bent to capture the whole view.
Our hotel was right in the middle of the Serengeti with no fence separating us from the animals of the plains. That's a hippopotamus pool over to the right.
